Years ago self-help books grew in popularity and still are.
Today, thanks to technology we are witnessing social media replacing many self-help books and in some instances a substitute for executive coaching.
From the sign-up for daily motivational quotations to the online, Google Hangout coaching sessions, social media may be doing more harm than good.
With so many coaches including those certified by some institution not having a sustainable, revenue driven practice, social media has become the gateway for these coaches to hook new clients.
What happens is the sense that “everyone is a coach.”
